Colorful Cooking

I received these amazing ceramic measuring spoons for Christmas and cooking has been so much more fun ever since. Cooking with colorful and fun gadgets is so inspiring (seen here and here) and these measuring spoons were the perfect addition to my growing cookware collection...thanks Amy!

California Love

I stumbled upon this California pillow on Etsy and I was amazed at the resemblance to the California cookies I made recently. Both items can be made in a variety of colors and the hearts can be placed wherever you would like. What a fun way to share your love of this beautiful state!

2010

{Maui - January 2010}

{My first blog post - April 2010}
{Engaged - Sept 2010}

It's hard to believe 2010 is actually coming to a close. It's been a busy year full of lots of changes and I'm sad to see it end. The year started with a trip to Maui, there really is no better place to start the year. I also started my blog with no real rhyme or reason and it ended up being exactly what I needed to keep me inspired. Over the summer I made the decision to attend culinary school which quickly exceeded all my expectations. Around the same time Ian proposed and we quickly jumped into wedding planning which is every girls dream and every grooms nightmare. It has been a very exciting year and I can't wait to see what 2011 brings!

Happy New Year!

Polka Dots

Kate Spade Polka dots (seen here) make me so happy and this cell phone case makes me want to upgrade to the G4 ASAP! Sorry for the lack of posts lately; bootcamp, work, school, and wedding planning has pretty much taken up all of my free time.

Creative Containers

Ian and I started registering recently and I really wish that more retailers carried ceramic containers such as the ones above. I have been eyeing these fruit baskets for a while and as soon as I saw the milk jug I was instantly in love.

Lots and lots of Pie

We made tons of pie at school and while it's hard to believe it's almost Thanksgiving since the weather in SF is in the 80s, I'm sure I'll be busy making many more Pies next week. My favorite part of the holidays has always been baking, so I'm excited to show off some of my new skills and of course enjoy time with family and friends!

Wedding Dresses

It's been a while since my last post and I can't believe how much I've done between then and now. I've been balancing school, work, wedding planning and now boot camp. The good news is we have made a lot of progress on our wedding and I am finally more excited about it than I am stressed out about it. We have found our venue, reserved a hotel for guests and the rehersal dinner, booked a caterer, and I'm taking tomorrow off to go dress shopping! Here is a sneak peak at a few of the designs I'm looking at.
